Stockholm – September, 2016. Tacton Systems AB today announced that Väderstad AB, a global supplier of agriculture machinery, has selected Tacton to deliver a Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solution.
Väderstad produces machinery such as cultivators, drills and planters for the agricultural industry. The Swedish company focuses on developing machines that help make farming more efficient, and live by the founder’s motto, “make it to last.”
The focus on innovation and a dedication to quality and reliability has paid off. Väderstad has seen sales increase five-fold since 2000. The company now has a presence in 40 countries, and is bringing new, innovative products to market at a high pace.
This rapid expansion has not been without challenges. Väderstad was at a point where it needed to gain better control over the increasing product portfolio, and better support its growing sales channel. The company also wanted to improve the order process. After scanning the market for CPQ solutions, Väderstad selected Tacton.
