Tacton Systems is now part of salesforce.com’s ISV Force Program. The Program brings the CRM community closer to a number of services and solutions that can be integrated into the CRM solution. This helps users increase the use of the system and extend it to more services than just CRM.
Tacton Systems has worked closely with the CRM team to achieve a seamless integration between the two products. The solution is published on the AppExchange. Companies with complex products can now create sales quotes in the CRM system using the most advanced rules engine available. Through Tacton’s close integration with PDM and ERP systems companies can close the loop between the sales and manufacturing processes and thereby gain considerable agility and competitive advantage.
The agreement means that Tacton can address a wide market and jointly meet the needs for complex configuration that many organizations have today.
Ever since Tacton Configurator was introduced on the AppExchange early last year, it has won a lot of praise from staff and community. It enables users to interactively configure, price, and create professional quote documentation for any kind of configurable products.
