STOCKHOLM, AUGUST 27 2018 – The software company Tacton, a global leader in CPQ solutions for manufacturing companies, has delivered a Configure Price Quote solution to vehicle manufacturer Solaris Bus & Coach – a leading European manufacturer of public transportation vehicles.
Solaris, which works with vehicle tenders from European municipalities and bus companies, now, with Tactons’s CPQ solution, has the possibility to automate and accelerate this process considerably, leading to a more rapid quotation process and eliminating order errors.
In the first stage, Solaris will allow its sales engineers to use the solution internally in the procurement process. In the next step, sales reps out in the field will be able to configure and provide complex quotations immediately while visiting the customer, via a computer or tablet.
